Description

Pricking iron or stitch mark iron is used to mark precise rows of consistently spaced stitches for hand stitching.

Do not try to use a metal hammer when working with a pricking iron. A raw hide mallet or rubber mallet are safer to use and will give you best results (see no. 621-Wooden Round Mallet).

  • The number shows the stitches per inch.
